Ita Catamarans showed off their ITA 14.99 at the Cannes Yachts Festival 2018.
This is their first model.

The catamaran is built to perform well under sail, while being able to withstand high payload without losing too much of its performance. The hulls are a bit wider in the waterline than is usual, this gives better bearing capacity.

Even though the yard has made efforts to make the boat light, they have put on some heavier details in the interior to give a more solid feeling.

ITA 14.99 has for its segment a very competitive price. Set to size, pricing is similar to Outremer's catamarans, while the interior is more worked by Ita Catamarans.

The propulsion is electric in this boat.
This means that the propellers are powered by electric motor. The battery pack is designed to run for about an hour. At longer motoring, a diesel generator starts to charge the batteries. The idea is to be able to get in and out of ports without starting the disel generator.

We are excited to see the trend of catamarans that performs well. ITA 14.99 is a good addition to this segment. The boat gives a solid impression and has a good balance between performance, quality and price.
